Avionics Help

WELCOME to AvionixHelp.com

Bob helped clarify my avionics needs. I needed an honest, unbiased opinion from someone knowledgeable with this stuff and he fulfilled that role and he helped me stay close to my budget. I ended up with better equipment for less money. I’m not exaggerating when I say I spent a couple hundred with Bob and saved a couple thousand. I also have the peace of mind that I made good decisions based on his advice. ” Kevin H.  SafeFlight LLC, New Jersey

  * Okay … You’re considering an Avionics Upgrade and … NEED HELP        You came to the right place!

Hi … My name is BOB HART

and … I’ve been Providing Independent Avionics Advice for Legacy Aircraft Owners for Ten Years!

You’ll find lots of reasons on this website why I can HELP you but … If you want to get “Down to IT” … Here’s how I do Business

I start with a questionnaire.  Your answers and photos will tell me everything I need to know to help you and to identify what I call your “situation”.

My Report will evaluate what you have installed in the panel now based on your plan for the aircraft (keep it two years or ten?). This is based on the equipment’s reliability and support. Good avionics that fit the mission can stay! It’s often necessary to maintain a reasonable upgrade budget in a legacy aircraft.  I will then identify what tools you are missing and what you need to add or upgrade to meet your mission.  Most of my clients (many are students), plan to fly light IFR.

I will then present you with all the best options including descriptions (and links) and the estimated installed cost and make my recommendations as to what products make, the most dollars and sense for your “situation” and your budget.

When we are done, you’ll have an upgrade “plan”.  This is all done in writing (typically, 18-24 pages!). We’ll conclude with a phone discussion, so I know you “get it’.  We will also discuss how best to shop for a quote and renegotiate and I can evaluate your quotes after you get them.  Average bill for my services is $475-$570 ($570 with an EFIS discussion) but I will likely save you more than that!  This is based on how many categories (audio, Primary GPS or Navigator, Back-Up Com and Nav, ADS-B, Engine Management, ELT and EFIS) we need to address in the report.

Once I have the information and understand your goals, I will let you know if I need more than 5 hours. You will know what this will cost you in advance.  My fee will not exceed this unless you provide additional information or decide to change course that results in a re-evaluation.  There will be no surprises!
